The Fractional Decision Pack
Choose whether to go fractional, which seat to lead with, and how to build the practice. Every figure carries its source, its sample and its date.
What's in the kit
- 22 pages, worked through in two sessions
- Census firm counts with the arithmetic shown, not just the total
- A confidence mark on every figure: verified, single source, or unverified
- The five-question test a buyer will put your seat claim through
- Operator, advisor or interim, compared on authority and access rather than rate
- The business questions to take to a lawyer, CPA and insurance professional
- A ninety-day sequence for standing up the practice
- A source appendix listing what was looked for and deliberately left out
What this is
Three decisions, made in order. Whether fractional work fits the way you want to work now. Which executive seat you can credibly sell first. Whether you want to operate, advise, or serve as an interim.
It assumes you have run an organization. It does not explain basic executive work.
Why it is built the way it is
Most material in this category sells aspiration. This one shows its working.
Every market figure carries a mark on the page beside it, not buried in an appendix: verified, single source, or unverified. Where no credible source exists, the gap is stated and the number is left out. There is no national adoption rate in here, because no authoritative one exists. There is no standard time to first revenue, for the same reason.
What is in here instead: the Census firm counts with their arithmetic shown, two published hourly-rate averages kept separate rather than blended into a range that would flatter both, and the honest disqualifiers, including the ones that say do not start yet.
What it does not do
It does not inventory everything from your career that might transfer. That work only becomes useful once you have chosen a seat, and doing it first produces a list you throw away. There is a separate pack for each of the five seats.
It is decision support. Not legal, tax, accounting, insurance or employment advice.
Who should not buy it
If you have already chosen your seat and you want the transfer inventory for it, buy that seat’s pack instead. This one is upstream of that choice.
Who it's for
Former C-level executives considering independent work, who can credibly claim more than one seat and have not yet decided which one to lead with.
